Innovation was always present in companies from the very beginning, it was a part of every organization; some were aware of its importance more than others until innovation was touched as a science. Any form of a new idea for development, changing a system to be more efficient or even a total strategic change to meet goals faster are all innovations. But the main element that actually made the change in those companies are the people. It is the relation between the employees and how they work together in synchronization and harmony, this was the start point of any innovation taking place. Also the importance of their relations in order to reach their targeted aims. Having multicultural teams in companies only added value to the productivity, as these people have come from different places, thinking in different ways. They have come together to achieve their best, their outcomes will definitely be outstanding. This thesis discusses a number of issues that took place in the internship company I worked closely with Dubai Aluminium (DUBAL), I will explore how research design characteristics affect the results of team diversity studies. Which allows me to make the best use of all the information I have gathered from all the studies that were done for similar topics in the past. I will provide an illustration of innovation models: innovation models that are relevant to the company, where and how-connecting to customers-innovation happens, some successful strategies, a glance on the history and some major examples from history and from the firm. Provides an illustration of innovation dimensions: what is innovation, types of innovation, overview of the company, strategy of improvement, team work and multicultural teams, pros and cons of multiculturalism, types of conflict in DUBAL, giving examples related to DUBAL. Multicultural environments in product companies. How do they effect performances? How it supports the work? Why multicultural teams exist are they in escalating numbers or diminishing. Working environment; coordination between employees, future plans of the company according to management. How and why to move to a new level, introducing new departments. My findings, what in my opinion can be fixed/developed/added to the structure of the company.
