Kurdistan, the Kurds and international actors involved: an overview. The treaty of Sèvres: Kurds never been so close to the proclamation of an autonomous nation. Aftermaths: Kurds dispersed in four nations. Syrian Kurds militias against the Islamic State. The security council of the United Nations denies the Kurdish counterparts to participate to the Geneva peace talks: consequences of the absence of Kurds in discussing the Syrian question. An autonomous Kurdistan with democratic confederalism.
