The foreign direct investment and its risks: the call for effective risks' assessment and management activities while investing abroad. A country risk and political risk: how to identify, assess and hedge the risks stemming from the foreign country's political, socio-economic and financial specific environment. Fostering internazionalization: how to make the internationalization goad real and the instruments at disposal to foster and support Italian companies in such an aim. Focus on Iran: the case study of an high risk but high potential country: the theoretical considerations put in practice: country and political risks’ analysis and mitigation when deciding to invest and export in Iran.
