The regulation on the prohibition of torture under international law. United States' responsability for acts torture: State responsability in connection with the implementation of harsh interrogation policies in the war on terror. Individual responsability of the Bush administration. The involvement of physicians and other health professionals in the interrogation policy: responsibility for torture. Italy's case study: the absence of the crime of “torture” and the jurisprudence of the European Court of human rights on Italy's violations of article 3 ECHR.
