Harmony and law, universe and legal systems: an anthropological and philosophical horizon. The western idea of harmony: harmonic consonance and well-tempered mixture. Static, fragmented and dynamic harmony: three different approaches to legal theory. In varietate concordia: a proposal for a harmonic paradigm in legal theory. Three principles of harmony: subsidiarity, post-national hermeneutic communitarianism and equitable and reasonable utilisation of shared resources.
