What are the effects that the division of labor has on labor productivity. What is labor productivity? How did Smith interpret the role of labor productivity? The negative effects of the division of labor. How is labor productivity affected by education and technological advance? What is human capital? how is it influenced by education? What is the role that Smith gave to education? Is education needed just to erase the negative effects caused by the division of labor? The role of institutions in providing either institutional (formal) or non-institutional (basic) education. Is technology fundamental for the increase in labor productivity according to Smith?
