Definition of NPOs. Definition of the aim and research question. Stakeholder theory. Explanation of the freeman framework within stakeholder theory. Challenges faced by the stakeholder theory framework. How non profit organizations address stakeholders' needs. Crowdfunding as an informal institutional mechanism. Examination of crowdfunding to increase awareness and support for NPO initiatives, considering its impact on attitudes, moral values, and social dynamics. Methodology. Overview of the research approach: data collection methods and techniques utilized. WeCare case study: exploration of the WeCare organization as a case study to illustrate the implementation of crowdfunding within an NPO context. WeCare history. Crowdfunding initiatives and evolution over time. Recommendations, improvements, and best practices based on the case study findings. How it uses crowdfunding, its evolution, and what can be improved. Summary of key insights gained from the study, including the importance of stakeholder engagement and the effectiveness of crowdfunding as an informal institutional mechanism for NPOs.
