Humanitarian crises and the context of human rights overview of major contemporary humanitarian crises. The evolution of the concept of human rights in response to humanitarian crises. Evolution of EU directives and regulations. Origins and development of the TPD. Historical context. Commission proposals and negotiations. Activation. Reasons for the activation. Legal and juridical framework and objectives of the TPD in the context of human rights. Objectives. Incorporation of human rights into the TPD framework. Implementation and impact of the TPD in 2022. Rights guaranteed by the TPD: analysis of access to work, housing, healthcare, and education. Comparative evaluation of the TPD's implementation among the member States.
