The normative context around the law of international organizations and higher education in a global perspective. Overview of the law of international organizations as a derivative of international law. The unique normative framework of the European Union as a sui generis supranational organization. An outline of education and the sectoral shift through a globalized perspective. An intergovernmental approach to homogenize higher education: the Bologna process.
