Existing trade relations and mechanisms between the Republic of Azerbaijan (RA) and the European Union (EU). Existing legal sources and mechanisms of mutual trade. Structure of bilateral trade, directions of export/import operations and main trends. Existing technical regulatory framework and instruments. The main logistical links supporting trade relations between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the European Union in the current geopolitical framework. An important and effective link in the logistics chain between Europe and Asia: the Europe-Caucasus-Asia international transport corridor or the Middle Corridor. An important aggregator link in the logistics supply chain-the New Baku international sea trade port. The Zangezur corridor, which is a promising and highly potential link in the logistics chain between Europe and Asia. Mechanisms for the development of the export and logistics policy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in order to expand trade relations with the European Union. Harmonization of technical regulatory instruments. Identification and application of free trade and preferential trade regimes. Formation, promotion and export of the “made in Azerbaijan” brand. Increasing the efficiency of the logistics chain through the application of electronic logistics information sharing systems.
