The Israeli Palestinian conflict through a critical security studies (CSS) lens. Historical background and power asymmetries: from the British mandate to the present. Securitizing narratives: how both sides construct threat and legitimacy. Recognition as strategy: identity, diplomacy, and the politics of (non)existence. Constructing narrative: the drivers of perception and public consciousness. Mediated conflict: mainstream and social media in the narrative battle. How education, religion and culture shape perception of the conflict. Research design and methodology. Research question and hypothesis. Sampling method, survey design and ethical considerations. Statistical methodology and analytical approach. Descriptive statistics and sample overview. Demographic composition. General trends in perception. Inferential, cluster and sentiment analysis.
