From French West Africa to energy sovereignty. French West Africa as a colonial system structurally antagonistic to energy sovereignty. Négritude as a political counter-ontology at the foundation of subjectivation and sovereign self-determination. The development of energy policy in Senegal and the rise of energy sovereignty within a framework of regional interdependence and multi-level governance (1960-2030+). Analysis of the energy transition in Senegal. Senegal facing a restructuring of its energy system between potential, strategy and security. Transition instruments and their articulation between gas, renewables and cooperation. A transition constrained by justice and energy governance.
